About
Rock wool:
Rock Wool or Mineral Wool is a kind of hot insulation that has basalt as an igneous rock, is main constituent. Firstly, basalt, along with dolomite, is melted at 1400-1500°C and turned into silicates. Then melted material changes to fibers with a special method, and finally, rock wool is produced. The fibers have low thermal conductivity, and their insulation properties are respectively 33 and 22 times more than concrete and brick walls. Green Saving General Trading produces rock wool in different kinds, such as blanket, pipe, panel, loose wool, and pheno felt, which is used as a hot insulation for temperatures up to 649°C in oil and gas refineries, petrochemicals, power plants, buildings, and agricultural industries.
Application:
• Fire resistance in accordance with fire curve, ISO 834 standard- categorized on “A1” class, non-combustible
• Non-toxic, environmentally compatible with ecosystem recycling and reusable, free of asbestos
• High thermal resistance up to 649°C
• Sound absorption coefficient of a ≥80% in sound frequencies above 500HZ
• Low thermal conductivity (in 128 kg/m³ density, thermal conductivity is optimum and equals 0.053 w/mk)
• Raw fibers have a PH 7-11
• Easy and simple installation
